    A classic.

Worth the wait. The chicken dinner is huge, you will be taking home leftovers! The chicken and dumplings dinner is perfect on a chilly October night.

Actually, the original 1975 Corkscrew was dismantled, moved, and rebuilt. Silverwood is the name of the amusement park located in Athol, Idaho, where the Corkscrew now lives. Boomerang is still a cool ride, don't get me wrong.

  • Former site of Studio Theatre, phiz wrote 18 years ago:
I seem to recall it being the "Studio" in the very early 1970's, though it seems like a hundred years ago to me now. Many a summer's day, all day long, was spent in here watching reruns of "G" films like "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and "The Aristocats". I could get my "Heckle & Jeckle" cartoon fix here, too. Nobody needed daycare back then. You just dropped the kids off at the movies for eight hours. lol

  • Former site of Studio Theatre, ko (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
Before it was the Studio Theatre, it was The Buena Park Theatre from 1958 to 1976, and it was, for the most part, a family oriented movie house for the citizens of Buena Park and the surrounding area.
